わが国では近年、薬事規制の厳格化により、特に若年層を中心にOTC(Over-The-Counter) 医薬品の過量服用が顕著な社会問題となっています。当科では2023年12月にアセトアミノフェンの過量内服による若年女性の急性肝不全を3例立て続けに経験しました。本症例はこうした日本の社会事情を反映した症例と考え、報告いたしました。（土井）
